We broadcast weekly from different local businesses, nonprofits, and schools to talk sports and shine a spotlight on the local heroes and celebrities who deserve recognition. As we launch Season 2 this football season, we're elevating our impact with an exciting new CCSD partnership. Show Schedule
As we enter Season 2, 702 Sports: On The Sidelines continues to combine sports action with community impact, enhancing our reach and influence with an engaging and dynamic schedule. Our season kicks off this football season, with our first episode premiering on August 31st, previewing the upcoming college and NFL seasons. We will deliver 26 captivating episodes, starting the week before football season begins and concluding with a special season highlight celebration on February 22nd, after the Super Bowl. This grand finale will bring together our guests from the season, providing a memorable recap of the most exciting moments.
Following a short break, we will return with a six-episode March Madness Special, premiering on March 15th and culminating on April 19th. Additionally, our schedule includes four special CCSD "Celebration of Abilities" episodes, highlighting and celebrating the achievements of a student with disabilities excelling in the community.
Show Structure
Each hour-long episode of 702 Sports: On The Sidelines is divided into three engaging segments.
In the first segment, we recap the previous week's games, highlighting the biggest events and stories in sports.
The second segment features a special guest – a local hero, community leader, business or nonprofit owner, local artist, or celebrity – to discuss their endeavors and the impact they are making in the community.
The final segment keeps our guests on set as they join our hosts to talk sports and preview the upcoming week's matchups.

CCSD Partnership: "Celebration of Abilities"
702 Sports: On The Sidelines is excited to announce a 1-year partnership with the Clark County School District (CCSD). This collaboration emerged from our shared commitment
to highlight and celebrate the achievements of students with disabilities who excel in our community. This season, we are thrilled to present four special episodes titled "Celebration of Abilities."
Each quarterly episode will be filmed on location at different CCSD schools, where we will surprise a student with disabilities who has demonstrated outstanding achievements. These episodes will feature family members, influential CCSD teachers and coaches, special guests, and fellow students cheering them on, with a special surprise to honor the student's accomplishments.
CCSD, a cornerstone of Southern Nevada's educational landscape, encompasses 363 schools from Laughlin to Indian Springs, with over 309,000 students and 15,000 staff members. Join us in celebrating these remarkable students while showing others that challenges can be overcome and dreams can achieved through hard work and community support.
