Welcome! We are very excited to have you here! With your donation, you are supporting the growth and development of our community garden and greenhouse at the C.A.R.E. Complex! Our goal is to raise $2400 for the initial startup of the garden, which includes essential items such as lumber, power saw rental, construction sheeting, mesh rolling, nails, screws, staples, staple guns, paint, soil, seeds, starter plants, hoses, mulch bags, rental truck for pickup, and bottled water and healthy snacks for volunteers. C.A.R.E. Complex, formerly known as Homeless Helpers, is a fully-inclusive 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering responsibility, accountability, and self-reliance in individuals experiencing and transitioning out of homelessness.
*By establishing a community garden, we aim to make fresh produce accessible, promote healthier lifestyles, and build stronger communities. It also beautifies the landscape, cleans up the environment, and provides opportunities for learning while relieving stress and increasing wellness. Together, we can be the change we yearn to see, making kindness and giving back the everyday trend. Join us in creating a lasting impact in the lives of those in need.
